What will the apprentice be doing?

• Assist carpenters in the construction, installation, and maintenance of various structures such as framing, roofing, and cabinetry
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials using hand and power tools
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plan
• Install windows, doors, and other hardware as per specifications.
  Help with the demolition and removal of old woodwork and fixtures
• Prepare and maintain job sites, ensuring tools and materials are organized and accessible
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
  Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to gain skills and certifications in carpentry
