Job Coaching Agencies can provide disabled people with a trained job coach who will support them with any employment matter, such as support at interviews, inductions, travel training, performance at work and training.
They can also support clients with disciplinary meetings, performance improvement action plans, and redundancy management. To receive job coaching support, people with disabilities can apply for funding through the Department for Work and Pensions Access to Work scheme. Access to Work is a grant from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) that helps pay for practical support so disabled people can do their jobs. Access to Work grants can be applied for by disabled people in paid employment. Access to Work can fund job coaches on behalf of the client.
