A formally recognised Level 3 qualification in Health and Social (or related subject) such as BTEC Level 3, Access Higher Education Diploma or A Level

GCSE Grades A*-C/9 – 4 in English and maths or level 2 equivalent

A level 3 qualification will be considered if you have relevant work experience, which provides relevant experience to support level 4 study.

For students that are non-native English speakers and have not undertaken their final two years of schooling in English the following qualifications will be considered:
--Common European Framework of Reference Level B2 -- PTE 51 -- IELTS 5.5 – Reading and Writing must be at 5.5 Additional Entry Requirements
- You will need to be employed or volunteering in a work placement to meet the requirement of 450 hours across the 2 years of the qualification. This must be in a health and/or social care role providing direct care to service users. You will need a supervisor in your setting who can oversee your continued development and provide evidence for your portfolio.
