Beauty Therapy - Diploma

This course is ideal if you who are interested in a career in the beauty therapy industry. It allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in this field. Progression from this course can lead you to a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or to an Advanced Apprenticeship studying a Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma. Course content is highly practical and covers a broad range of beauty therapy skills.

The Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy Services will be timetabled two nights a week across the duration of the academic year.

  • What you will study

    You wlll study:

    • Health and safety in the workplace
    • Working in the beauty related industries 
    • Client care and communication in beauty related industries 
    • Provide Facial Skin Care 
    • Providing manicure treatments 
    • Provide pedicure treatments
  • Entry Requirements

    4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D) (English and maths desirable) or a Level 1 qualification. Final selection is by interview and internal tests.

  • Assessment

    You will be assessed through a range of practical assessment techniques, observations, assignments and online examinations.

  • Moving Forward

    Beauty Therapy Level 3 Diploma

  • Cost and Loans

    You will be expected to purchase your own course materials, beauty therapy kit, uniform and text books.
