Hair Professional - L3 Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship leads to a career as an advanced Creative Hair Professional. Advanced Creative Hair Professionals are creative, passionate, and driven professionals who work without supervision, managing themselves and others when required. They provide a quality service whilst working to the highest standards and continuously developing their personal and professional skills. They take ownership of their work and client lists, accept responsibility, are proactive, flexible, and adaptable, and plan their work and time. They aim for excellence by taking exceptional pride in their work and industry. The work environment varies in size, style and ambience, from a bespoke salon, the media industry, product houses and manufacturers to luxury high-end hair salons. They are highly skilled and experienced individual professionals who deliver hair fashion-forward trends, which are innovative styles inspired by current images and their creativity, unique flair, imagination and interpretation.

    Qualification

    • Level 3 Diploma for Advanced Creative Professionals
    • Level 2 English
    • Level 2 Maths
  • Entry Requirements

    GCSE grades A-C / 9-4 in English and maths and achievement of Level 2 Hairdressing Qualification. The Apprentice must achieve Level 2 English and maths prior to taking their end-point assessment

    15 Months

  • Delivery

    Induction One day induction to Apprenticeship programme, meeting with a Skills Coach and Delivery Plan agreed.

    In College One workshop and workbased session a month for the duration of Programme.

    Assessment On programme assessments every 6-8 weeks, including progress reviews every 8-10 weeks.
