Recruiting apprentice stylists to join our busy salon and incredible team. We are looking for a confident, creative and talented person to join our team. Someone who is punctual, reliable, and honest, with a passion for hairdressing.

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Looking after clients
• Assisting in all aspects of hairdressing (including shampooing)
• Reception, appointments management, answering the telephone
• Cleaning the salon and salon equipment/towels and keeping it tidy

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Level 2 diploma for Hair Professional apprenticeship standard
• Level 1 and/or 2 functional skills in English and maths
• Institute of apprenticeship certificate

End-point assessment:

• A practical assessment
• Oral questioning

The practical assessment and oral questioning will assess the learner’s professionalism, values, behaviours, communication, safe working practices and consultation skills.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• Potential progression to Level 3
• To be discussed at the end of the apprenticeship

Annual wage

£13,312 to £23,795.20 a year
