This week, AutoTech Academy delivered a talk to Level 2 and Level 3 full-time Motor Vehicle learners from our Bromley and Greenwich campuses.
AutoTech Academy are an automotive recruitment specialist and maintain workshops for a UK-wide network of vehicle dealerships. Offering young technicians support into their first paid employment, AutoTech Academy have excellent relationships with some of the leading names in the sector, including Toyota and Lexus.
In addition to their automotive recruitment service, they offer training for a variety of skill levels and experience, from those starting out in the sector to experienced technicians looking to maximise their potential.
Terrell Lloyd-Conlon, from AutoTech Academy, delivered a comprehensive explanation of how his company works with Toyota to support Level 2 and Level 3 college Motor Vehicle students in a route into the automotive industry. Learners were given tips for applying for careers within the industry, as well as advice on applying for internships.
After the talk, students were given the opportunity to ask questions, and complete an instant application via QR code.
Simon Wild, Motor Vehicle Lecturer, said of the event: "This was a brilliant opportunity for the learners to ask questions and hear from someone in the industry. It was a really valuable and beneficial event for our Motor Vehicle learners."
