Do you want to become an architect, become part of the future of sustainable construction, or work in planning and civil engineering? Our T Level Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction course will give you the grounding of skills and knowledge to put you on this career path.

T Levels are new courses that follow GCSEs and are equivalent to three A Levels. You'll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a work placement with an employer to give you the skills and knowledge needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.

  • Entry Requirements

    Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, maths and science and/or Vocational Technical qualification at Level 2 at Pass or above in a relevant subject

  • Assessment

    Learners must complete and pass two externally set exams covering knowledge from the design, surveying and planning common core components. The exams consist of a mixture of short answer questions and extended response questions. They must also complete one Employer-set project covering knowledge and core skills from the design, surveying and planning common core component. In year two, learners must complete one Occupationally Specialist assessment, which will cover all the core elements and practical components in a detailed design, surveying, and planning project.
